Figurative and abstract works of Art. Martje lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

She studied Art at the Corcoran School of Art and Design in Washington DC. She exhibited in the USA, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Her subjects are mainly Renaissance and Baroque sculptures of which she captures the emotions so well in her paintings.

For her commissioned graphite portrait drawings she will visit you with her camera where she will photograph the portrait for her artwork herself.

Martje teaches Art classes in her studio as well as at the Stichting Marline Fritzius in Amsterdam.
